Larry C. Hughes, MD

Larry C. Hughes,MD – Dr. Larry Hughes is a graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Medicine.  He completed his residency in Family Practice and was Board Certified by the American Academy of Family Practice.

He grew up on the family farm in North Dakota and married his childhood sweetheart, Sandy, a psychologist.  They have three children and six grandchildren.  Their daughter Heather and sons David and Michael all graduated from Hemet High School.  Heather is a Family Physician in Hemet.  Their son David is an orchard farmer in Hemet.  Their son Michael recently graduated from the University of San Diego.

After enlisting in the United States Navy, Dr. Hughes served two tours of duty in Vietnam.  Following his six years of active duty he joined the United States Army National Guard while getting his medical education.  Dr. Hughes became a U.S. Army Flight Surgeon and was activated during Desert Storm.  He is a Federal Aviation Administration Medical examiner.  Dr. Hughes has been working in Hemet since 1987 and is accepting new patients of all ages.

Heather L. Hughes, MD

Heather L. Hughes, MD –  Dr Heather Hughes is a graduate of Hemet High School.  She has recently returned the Hemet-San Jacinto Valley bring with her a wealth of experience and knowledge in the medical field.  Dr. Hughes graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency at Wesley Family Practice in Wichita, Kansas.  Prior to returning the Hemet, Dr. Hughes practiced in North Dakota and spent a year out of the United States, practicing medicine in beautiful New Zealand.

Dr. Hughes has a special interest in women’s health, and has completed extra training in obstetrics and gynecology during her residency.  When not caring for patients, Dr. Hughes enjoys her active lifestyle with kayaking, hiking, yoga, photography and spending time with her husband and her 4 children.  Dr. Hughes is accepting patients of all ages.

Julie Smith Clark, NP

Julie Smith Clark, NP – Julie Smith-Clark attended Hemet High from 1987-90. She then went on to receive her ADN/RN from Maric College in San Diego, CA. Upon completion she obtained an RN position at Hemet Valley Hospital from 1997-2010, where she worked in various areas of the hospital, including but not limited to, TELE/DOU/ICU/CCU/ER. Julie then went back to continue her education and received her BSN in 2009 and finally her MSN/FNP in 2011, finishing both degrees with honors from CSUDH in Carson CA. Julie is married to a local ER Physician and has 5 kids ages 21, 13, 11, 10, 8. Julie has a special interest in Asthetics, she has obtained certificates in Botox, Restylane, Mesotherapy and Zerona. When not working Julie enjoys playing tennis, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Mary Ann Savory, NP

Mary Ann Savory, NP – Mary Ann is a native  californian. She received her BSN and MSN from  LLU. She did her Post graduate work UCSD. Specialty areas are critical care, emergency medicine and family practice. She has worked as a registered nurse (RN) for a total of 35 years and as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) with Dr Hughes 17 years. She is a “horseaholic”. She has owned horses >50 years and currently showing reining horses. She is married to her husband Ralph. He is a retired police officer.  They live on a small horse ranch in GarnerValley. Mary Ann has 1 son, Ralph has 2 daughters from previous marriage. They have 7 grandchildren.
